Hi, i have a acer aspire e1-571 model laptop and i dont know what happin now becoze the microphone is not working when i used skype or anyother video calling sources it is a builtinn microphone it wa. The audio i/o on my e 15 worked fine out of the box for audio playback, cortana control, and online gaming voice chat. the speakers are a bit quiet, so i left them at 100% in the taskbar and tweaked the output levels on a per-app basis as needed.. Original title: acer aspire v5 windows 8 microphone problem hi everyone, i bought an acer aspire 5 windows 8 and its built-in microphone is terrible, it's too noisy, it catches every single noise in the background.. The built in microphone on my acer aspire one netbook is not working. i am running windows xp on the netbook and had this issue once before a while back but cannot remember what the tech person told me to uninstall that made it suddenly work again..
