Canon toolbox 4.9 not working with windows 7(x64) professional the advice works on win 7, win 8 and windows 10. @canon support: update your install program to do a `fix` scenario to add the drivers on the path.. Sometimes an mf toolbox or windows 10 update will stop the scanner function. when that happens go to control panel and open system and on the left open advanced settings and then open environmental variables.. Hi! have same problem. but even can't reinstall mf toolbox. installer after asking some qustions just stop responding. uninstaller does the same..
I have a canon imageclass mf4570dn. i s witched to windows 10 in december & have been using toolbox with no problems until yesterday. yesterday it gave me a message that a compatible scanner was not installed. i tried everything that i could think of with no success, even installed with the old canon cd.. In this video i show where to get the patch to solve the issue, that scanner does not work on canon mf devices or ir1133 and similar, after upgrading your windwos from windows7/8 to windows10. It is amazing that canon software experts can't solve this problem. my mf4150 still stops working when there is an ungrade to windows and it is now march 2017!!! with the printer off, what i do is delete toolbox..
